Missouri Sex Offender Registry
Overview
Access to sex offender information in Missouri is provided to the public as the result of the Jacob Wetterling
Registration Act, which was passed by the United States Congress and Megan's Law,
which requires states to release relevant information about registered offenders
to protect the public. Information about access to MO sex offender information can be found in the chart below.

Online Sex Offender Registry / Online Directory
The Missouri State Highway Patrol shall maintain a sex offender database and a web site on the Internet that is accessible to the public as mandated by the Revised Statutes of Missouri, Sections 589.400 to 589.425 and 43.650, RSMo. Launched on May 18, 2004, the web site provides lists of sex offenders in the following formats: by name, by county and by ZIP code. Each list is in Adobe Acrobat (.pdf file) format.

Upon request, a local law enforcement agency will provide a complete list of the sexual offenders registered within that agency's jurisdiction to any member of the public.
