Hawaii Sex Offender Registry
Overview Access to sex offender information in Hawaii is provided to the public as the result of the Jacob Wetterling
Registration Act, which was passed by the United States Congress and Megan's Law,
which requires states to release relevant information about registered offenders
to protect the public. Information about access to HI sex offender information can be found in the chart below.

Online Sex Offender Registry / Online Directory Chapter 846E, Hawaii Revised Statutes, mandates that the Hawaii Criminal Justice Data Center maintain a central repository of convicted sex offenders in the State of Hawaii. The state of Hawaii publishes information about registered sex offenders living in Hawaii who have been given a court hearing to determine if that person's information shall be made public. Information about those persons, which is available to the public includes: name, photograph, street name of residence, vehicle(s) driven, street name of employment, college/university affiliation, and crime for which convicted.
