Washington Sex Offender Registry
Overview
Access to sex offender information in Washington is provided to the public as the result of the Jacob Wetterling
Registration Act, which was passed by the United States Congress and Megan's Law,
which requires states to release relevant information about registered offenders
to protect the public. Information about access to WA sex offender information can be found in the chart below.

The purpose of this site is to provide information to the public concerning the location of sex offenders within Washington. The Washington Association of Sheriffs and Police Chiefs (WASPC) has established this site according to the requirements of RCW 4.24.550.
