Overview
Access to sex offender information in Clark County, Ohio is provided to the public as the result of the Jacob Wetterling
Registration Act, which was passed by the United States Congress and Megan's Law,
which requires states to release relevant information about registered offenders
to protect the public.

General Information
As a result of House Bill 180 (Megan's Law), sex offenders are required to register with the county in which they reside. Any person who is found to be a sexual predator, habitual sex offender, or sexual oriented offender, and resides in Clark County must register with the Clark County Sheriff's Office. Offender classifications are defined and registration procedures are described.
