Idaho Sex Offender Registry
Overview Access to sex offender information in Idaho is provided to the public as the result of the Jacob Wetterling
Registration Act, which was passed by the United States Congress and Megan's Law,
which requires states to release relevant information about registered offenders
to protect the public. Information about access to ID sex offender information can be found in the chart below.

Online Sex Offender Registry / Online Directory Contains public record information on sex offenders. Provides a list of non-compliant offenders (failed to register on-time), details about requesting registry information by form and detailed records for registered violent sexual offenders.
The search tool allows users to search by a partial first or last name, city, county or zip code. A list of all offenders and predators can be obtained by entering only the city, county or zip code. Searches can be done for offenders, predators or absconders (those who have failed to register).

Written Request and Other Types of Access Forms are submitted to either the Central Registry or local sheriff.
SOR-4 Form may be used to make requests on a named individual or a list of registered sex offenders by zip code or county. There is a $5 charge per written request.
SOR-5 Form may be used to request a photograph of a registered sex offender from the central registry. There is a $5 charge for each individual photograph.
