Connecticut Sex Offender Registry
Overview Access to sex offender information in Connecticut is provided to the public as the result of the Jacob Wetterling
Registration Act, which was passed by the United States Congress and Megan's Law,
which requires states to release relevant information about registered offenders
to protect the public. Information about access to CT sex offender information can be found in the chart below.

Online Sex Offender Registry / Online Directory Provides registration information for sex offenders. The search tool allows users to search by partial last name, town or zip code. The entire registry can also be browsed.
Connecticut Sex Offender Registry
Written Request and Other Types of Access For further information on any subjects listed on the registry, Connecticut General Statute 29-11 authorizes the Department of Public Safety to release to any person, a state criminal conviction record by submitting the form "State Police Bureau of Identification Request" and paying a $25 fee.
