Kenneth Allen Burns, Jr., is charged with two counts of child enticement and two counts of exposing a child to harmful materials. These crimes occurred in Burnett County, Wisconsin, in 1992 while Burns was working with young boys, aged 8 to 13, as a youth group leader and karate instructor. Burns would allegedly make available to these children sexually explicit movies and magazines, and encourage them to play sexual contact games while with him. He failed to appear in court on June 8, 1992, and has not been seen since.
Burns was also charged on December 5, 1992, with 23 similar counts in Anchorage, Alaska, for crimes which occurred between 1988 and 1991.
