He has a better chance of being exposed on a background check then he does the registry. It's a given that many people don't use the registries.

There are many ways to make life easier but I wont get to detailed into that since an open forum is not the place to do it as it can be counter productive. There are many working against us but I can assure you that there are networks if you look hard enough that can help you over come a lot of the problems with the registration laws.

One of the things that i tell the people I volunteer with is carefully choose where you live. It is always best to find a place that is so family oriented to start with where much of the concern isn't as prevailant as places that have a lot of kids. There are many adult comunities available to start with. Also start your own business. There are many things that you can do.

Once he is no longer involved with LE there are ways to virtualy disapear other then the registry. Once no longer involved in the system it is very easy to go on with life and succeed. There are ways to remove any trace or contact information about you that the only place you can be identified is on the registry. A lot of this is common knowledge to those who have been around and work with offenders and at some point you will figure it out.

As for your husband the best thing for him to do is to learn the laws of the state you will be living in so as not to violate his terms and conditions. It is also very important thathe learn how to file suits. This will enable him to over come a lot of the issues that he will face and still be able to gain finacially from it to off set any set backs.

Alot of the laws don't require an attorney. Once you have the knowledge to file suit then it becomes even easier to challenge anything youmay encounter. this is even more important to learn then to focus on the registries.

I also suggest that both of you seek counciling on a regular basis as this will help him to get through the system a lot easier.

As long as he does what he is suppose to shows respect and a positive attitude towards those he has to deal with everything else will be on his side. His P.O. depending on his relationship can also be a great source of reference for a job if he has a good rep with them.

See an abbreviation or acronym, but don't know what it stands for? Consult the Glossary.
