RSOs interested in making money should consider eBay.

i like it but here's a better ideal...and would save the gov billions...
there are what 600,000 sex offenders on the registry....well they give each one of us 1,000,000.00 and a plane ticket/visa to the country of our choice...that will agree to accept us....instant public safety for the cost of 600 million...well under what they are spending yearly on all the registry's and inforcement and prison's to house them....what do you think? of course that 2 million people who are making a mint off us would be on welfare..but hey...that's life!

eBay might indeed take issue with selling hair, in fact I think they specifically forbid body parts now, though some Brits are selling their pubes, but they give 50% to charity.
eBay has clearly relaxed their rules if someone elects to automatically donate 50% of their auction proceeds to charity.
So many of those silly ideas might be squashed by eBay, except the auction that would accept donations to pay a sex offender to leave the united states.
50% would go to a victim's group and the other 50% to fund my departure from the United States....
See........... part of the auction text would include things like:
"If you do not donate to this fund, I could be using the urinal next to your child at the mall."
"I will be behind you in line at the store."
"I might be the guy sitting next to you at the slots in Vegas, the man who comes to install cable in your childs bedroom, or the guy who prepares your child's food at a restaurant."
All sorts of hysteria enabling quips that would make the reader of the auction have the same feeling an elected politician has to feel when facing the vote for or against harsher RSO rules.
"If I do not donate to this auction, it is the same as wanting sex offenders to stay in the US." "If I donate just $1 or $2 I help a charity and help rid the US of a dangerous criminal!" The person gets that "feeling" of having helped society on several fronts and it also satisfies the Roman(oops I mean American) thirst for vengeance.
If you know about the auction and you do not donate to help victims AND rid the US of at least one sex offender, you must be a sex offender. Shame on you!

Regardless, it's a bargain. There is no dollar limit to preventing one child from being peeked at through a window or accidentally seeing Uncle Bob's thingie because he didn't close the bathroom door.
