An age old question

To mods: Please feel free, without concern from me, to not post this topic if you feel it inappropriate, etc. Thankyou :)

The issue of "If someone as a boy/girl taped themselves performing a legal act, but illegal to be recorded - eg Masturbation", then kept this video away somewhere. Then when they turned 18/21 w/e the age in their country is, and wanted to show people it, let people view it, it WOULD be still illegal, etc and the person would be done for distributing child pornography.

But why, what reasons are there for this to be the case? If the person consents to showing it, why would they still be commiting a "sex offence"?

I know the scenario is unlikely, but it is one for debate.

Thankyou.

One reason is that child SO's sometimes use pictures of kids having sex to lower their inhibitions (if they had any) until they find a victim. While your scenario would be abnormal, it would not matter if the people who produced it were kids themselves. Also, the kids (now adults) probably would be considered child pornographers. There was a case (which Steve posted) a few months ago in which a 15-year old girl was charged with CP for distribution of pictures she took of herself to older men out in PA.
