The Private Messages screens for "Received Messages" and "Sent Messages" now only display the 40 most recent received and sent messages respectively. This change was to make these screens load faster since some users have sent and received *a lot* of messages. To see all sent and received messages view the "All Messages" screen. This will probably just be a short term solution. Eventually, the ability to delete messages is planned and breaking up the message lists so a certain number of messages are shown per page (probably 25 or 50 per page) will probably be implemented.
