I don't think there is anything wrong with taking precautions with SO's in regard to yourself or your children; that is if "precautions" means you don't want to be alone with them or have them around your children at all. That's fine. Everybody has the right to decide who or they or their kids should be around, for any reason or no reason at all. I'm not advocating that you send your kids to the "SO Day Care Center"!

If the worst thing I had to worry about was people not sending their kids to my house, or not inviting me or my husband to their homes, I would be a much happier woman. I think that is where the rights end, that's all (before someone else says it: I don't think SO's have the right to commit a sex crime, either; but when we are speaking of RSO's that is someone who has already been punished for their crime). I'm more speaking about people who think they have a right to tell SO's they don't want them on the same BLOCK as their kids.
