I can see where you are coming from. I sometimes wonder how some SO's who haven't been caught yet feel about all this. I bet they love the registry laws. I can just picture some neighbors freaking out about some RSO moving in. Next thing you know, one of the guys with no record is talking about how horrible it is to have an RSO living there and says we should all keep our kids away from him. For all you know it could be the non-RSO who is actually a child molester, able to fly under the radar even more since he is not on the list.

I'm not arguing that you should let your kids be alone with someone who is on the registry. But everytime somebody says they wouldn't let their kids go near THAT guy's house, it makes me think that they aren't as worried about the other neighbors. I know this probably sounds over-simplified, but I couldn't walk on anybody's grass or property (because it is rude), and I couldn't go to anybody's house that my parents didn't pre-approve first.

See an abbreviation or acronym, but don't know what it stands for? Consult the Glossary.
