this board is not the norm when it comes to released offenders,
Valerie, great point. Sometimes people here either don't see or don't want to admit that the sex offenders who post to the other parts of the discussion board aren't representative of sex offenders overall. After all, how many of them have admitted to molesting a baby, raping a stranger at gunpoint or having sex with a 9-year-old? It makes sense. After all, those who post here by and large feel wronged - either because they don't feel their punishment justified their crime, don't think their crime was all that bad, etc. Someone that does something particularly heinous wouldn't have much to gain by posting to the discussion board so I think those types are less likely to post here period, and those who do are likely to not share details of their crime(s), not tell the whole truth, or outright lie. My 2 cents.
