I'm not sure how we are defining "child advocate" here on this forum. But, as far as helping children or potential victims I'd put Steve at the top of the list. If you believe knowledge is power and have a website full of useful information you are obviously helping A LOT of people. I'd consider most of the people that participate in Steve's forums child advocates. Supporting victims, reporting crimes, contributing useful information and supporting offenders who are not reoffending is all part of helping the children IMHO.

ohh my, are you in a anti anti mood, lol just joking, no of course not there is no min requirements of helping children.....

but just that, doing something to help.
 as I have exp. over the yrs esp on the net, people are so very easy and fast to say:
" ohh yes, I am a child advocate too"!!
 and you ask them what they do, not in a manner of disbelief, but just to know, and you  get rude replys,  or none, or people asking you why you want to know, or them just saying"ohh, I do alot".

its one thing if someone chooses to be anonyomous, but then all they need to do is say that.
 have I made myself clear now Steve? ( not sounding rude).

anyhow, I was just asking, as sometimes child advocates form from past abuse, or from abuse of their child, I was simply wanting to know who in here was a child advocate, and if so, what they do.

as yes, as we do now agree, there has to be something, besides just the verbal of saying it.
 some may do more then others, but if someone says they are a advocate for children, then they must be.
