I think being an advocate, on whatever side of the coin you're on is something that just comes from within. A character trait almost. Keep up the good work for all you do :)

I am still formulating your question and as much as I would love to give a pat answer I don’t have one. Many years ago before the registry was listed online, (you had to write a letter to get a list) I received the offenders in my zip code. I was outraged. The first people I wanted to talk to were the police department for more info. They wouldn’t take my calls. So I said ok so I called Channel 10 news. The next thing I knew my neighborhood and my face was on TV for 4 days straight. Now at this time I had no concept what the definitions of sex crimes and the entire lingo that went with it. It has taken literally years to get a grasp on laws, crimes, what agency does what etc..and more years to get to know, who is who and establish dialogues with them. My ex helped alot with the who's who. But if there is one bit of wisdom I can impart, is alot of things are handled behind closed doors, one of my goals is to get behind those closed doors and try and imprint some common sense and fair play for the most vulnerable. I watched a travesty first hand come to my state (Mariel Boatlift) and I will never forgive the powers that be that let that happen and all the pain and heartache that came with it. I don’t think anyone had ever seen the scale of pure evil that hit the women and children of this state before. These creatures as I continue to call them motivated me into this battle, the crimes against Adam Walsh and Jimmy Ryce horrified me and unfortunately these crimes are growing against our kids. I am truly digressing here but I am tired of the "powers that be" that can’t walk and scratch their behind at the same time. But more than that I just intensely dislike a poor excuse for a human being who preys on someone weaker for their own sexual gratification because a screw up in the gene pool. So to answer your question, I make noise, I inform people in as much as I am able (which changes everyday) about blatant incompetence and disregard to each other. I raise money for a certain group who is close to my heart and I prefer not to name here. what I do changes everyday, but my priority is my old neighborhood, and especially the women and children in that neighborhood.
