Basically I'm completely rethinking the psychology of human beings with a specialization in child sexual abuse. I read books. Read forums. Interview victims and offenders.
I'm trying to build models of populations of victims, abusers, and normal people and specifically a model for the both perp and victim of child sexual abuse. I will write books if I don't smoke myself to death. The first book I want to write will contain interviews with victim/perp pairs and analysis of each situation. But I am a long way off.
I study biochemistry and neuroscience at a masters level and the field of evolutionary psychology in whatever way I can get my hands on material.
I apply life-experience, current studies, and our limited knowledge of neuroscience and evolution to sexuality.
Why not leave it to the professionals? I don't trust them anymore. I know of no one who is using my approach and I think I can offer some brand new ideas. The field I am applying, evolutionary psychology, is brand new and has not yet been applied to this problem.
So I'm in input mode but I output a lot of ideas on forums and gather responses. I'm hoping my pre-mature output will generate some ideas in others and maybe soften the effect that being one of the pair, perp or victim, has had on people's lives. That's not exactly right. I want to make people feel better about what they are going through. I walk with delicate balance between both sides and endeavor to reduce hate and repair lives.
In my spare time I'm trying to find out if the guys that gang-raped my niece are still gang raping little kids. None of them are RSO's.
