I guess the laws can work when needed. my step father got put on the sex offenders national registry for 10 years. I can't say that i am not happy about it, because i would be lying. After seeing the hardship that my daughter went through, and also something i just found out she did, and then all the memories coming back for me, i do think justice was done. I also know now that i was sat up for the cops to catch me. But hey, i was at fault, i was driving with out a license, and that is no ones fault but my own, and when my mother called and asked me why i was in jail, she didn't like the fact that i told her i was to blame. she hung up. Now maybe i will have some peace, no more trying to get to me, and my heart is clear because i know i helped my daughter, and also a part of me that i didn't realize needed mending.

I am happy for you and your Daughter, now that you feel justice was done you may be able to feel much better about things. Hopefully things will be better for you.

well lets just say they are getting street justice on me now. i got pulled over on Nov. 1. i am taking the responsibility of driving without a license. but i was set up by mom and step dad. its amazing how different it was when she wanted me to drive down there and go shopping with her or bring her medicine, it was all for her. This is just so darn amazing she said they were making it easy on me. and now i am in a triple threat storm watch, with a tornado warning until 5 and i couldn't get anywhere with a basement if i wanted to. i was in a tornado in 2002. as far as i am concerned, she can just strike me and my kids off her list of family. she is the vindictive one. if i wanted to be vindictive, i could have done it, the day my daughter told me about it, or even better, i could have told my brother how she allowed my nephews, his grandchildren around our father, who he hates with a passion. but i didn't and haven't. so who is the vindictive one. sure don't sound like me. But maybe i am wrong

Are you working on cutting ties with your parents? It seems odd to be struggling with relationship issues with your parents considering you are an adult.

i am no longer accepting phone calls from my mother. i have a block on my phone to keep her from calling. i am tired of her upsetting me. she tried to blame my kids and husband on me being put in jail. yes i was driving without a license, but she made sure they knew. i was not read my rights, i was one block from my house, and i was out of the citys jurisdiction. i was in the county jurisdiction. she said that this was just to scare me. well, i don't need her or want her in my life. I love her, but she uncapable of love. she is only capable of greed.
