Hi,I'm new to this site, actually, to any chat/message site. I really need some help & advice about a situation. There's a neighbor who went to jail for child molestation. got out on bail & is now in "hiding". soarces informed me that he also abused his own children. we were told by our manager "everything's been taken care of & he's moving out in 3-4 days." well, it's been almost 2 months & he's still here. I don't feel safe, especially having 3 children myself. Manager is really ignorant when it comes to "real" life. is there anything I can do? This just doesn't make sence.

If I'm understanding you right, the neighbor hasn't been convicted, but has been arrested, is out on bail, and has skipped bail. If so, report this person to law enforcement. If he has been convicted of a sex crime, he may be required to register as a sex offender, in which case you should contact law enforcement to find out if he's required to register and whether he's in compliance. I'll assume this is in Minnesota since that's your home according to your profile, so you may want to check the following page, which has links to Minnesota's sex offender registry search site for level 3 sex offenders, as well as our site's Megan's Law Information for Minnesota page. If you have more details that would help us help you, let us know.

Let's not hijack psdoff's thread by starting a discussion about your stepfather in it. Please re-post as a new thread in this forum. Thanks.

Hello and welcome to the forum. You mentioned that this person is hiding. If you mean he is hiding from the law then all you have to do is inform the police where he is if you are correct in thinking they are looking for him or he is wanted for something.

In the meantime, you could call the clerk of the court and inquire on the status of his case. Did you mention whether or not he was previously convicted of a sex crime?
