Good luck to you and your family tomorrow. Was the support from BACA helpful for your daughter? Have you seen the video they put out? It's quite powerful.

Bummer. I was going to mention about being prepared for a bunch of foolishness with continuances. It's part of the game the defense plays. They purposely try to wear down the victims and hope they don't show or get tired of coming to court.
All you can do is go home and pray for more patience. Don't let them get you down. You did nothing wrong. You'll always find the inner strength you need to get up the next morning and drive back to the court house. In the end it will be worth it. The truth must be told and his behavior must be exposed. It's painful being the responsible one all the time. Your daughter will always remember her Mom as the hero behind the scenes. I admire great Mom's. Go get 'em girl.

TODAY! She and her dad are on the way to the trial now! I am going nuts, i will not be the hero in this, as i can not even be there. I would cause a mistrial in this, i will explain whenits over as best i can, also, her baca guy is gonna be the hero here today! He canceled everything to be here today for her that he had prior to all the continuences! He really is her hero today! The perv did not show up on time for court yesterday to pick a jury, he was 2 half hours late, claimed he was up all night throwing up blood, judge sent him to doc/hospital and be back by 230pm to pick a jury, he was not seen back? so we find out today what is up with that! they picked a jury yesterday and today is it! Please pray for my moo-pooh!!!

Oh no! Sounds like the defendant has learned some or Michael Jackson's court tactics, wonder if he shows up in court today in his PJ's??
Today might be a good day to call a friend and go do something like lunch, a museum, shopping to take your mind off this until you family gets back home. Good luck and don't forget to breath OUT :)

That's gotta be hard! I'm not one of those people who can sit idly by either. When I had situations that I couldn't be part of...my house was SUPER clean and totally disinfected...hehehe That's my coping skill...I clean

he got not guilty! They could not interduce anything abut the rape. This was all about innappropriate happenings/gestures he made to her. Prosecutor did not do his homework, called when trial started and wanted last name of his live in girl that we had already discussed w/them and told them she would do anything for him, including lie. Had three other people who claimed false information and without me being able to testify i could not dispute what they told. I could not testify or i would cause a mistrial and would have been put in a position to blow other charges in another county where the rape happened. They are more solid charges than they had here yesterday. My moo-pooh walked out with her head up and is okay. Time is what will tell all i believe. No one could believe the verdict. The judge went to my daughter and told her he believed her and the other young man who witnessed some of this. He believed a guilty man just got set free. One more sex offender let go free.

It happened to my family monkey. It happened to us.
They are spending too much time on the easier to prove non-violent offenses and give zero time to the more violent but takes-work-to-prove crimes. It's numbers.
I am so sorry.

Let me guess....Case thrown out because of poor opening arguments and failure to express a crime. insufficient evidence. Only one nervous witness. The man had an exemplary career...etc
Close?

prosecutor did not do there job. Called in the morning when trial started asking imprtant inofrmation from me! like name/d.o.b./etc of girl whom he lives with info. Dont ya think they would have known that considering we spoke of her in prior months. His job,ha,"mechanic...i mean i buy and sell cars, i buy them for cheaper and sell them for more...." lies! all provable lies! his witness' lies, people i never met said they knew me! provable again, one of them said he lived in my apartments, i have not lived in a apartment in over 14 years, and not since he was old enough to have one of his own! I had another lawyer present to observe in the court room, comments were on the prosecutor not doing a good enough job on history or information needed or takeing the time to locate me for testimony, could have used me in this attorneys opinion! I am furious, they them let him walk out with four warrants for him out in nieghboring county, he was allowed to walk out and they were told about these warrants, 2 felony and 2 mis. warrants !! all drug related all in a drug free school zone, what the heck! We tried, and my dd won anyway! She will now have some closure, just not justice!

Deja Vu. Almost word for word, only 35 years later.
They are prosecuting the easier cases. It's numbers. Larger bets and efforts for maximum results. Child por, and L & L are easy pleas. Real rape and molestaion is too much effort.
posh!
