Kate hopes that telling her story will help her healing process and maybe encourage others to seek help if they are victims of abuse.
“I would love to be a spokesperson (against sexual abuse) … to go around the state and just talk about it,” she said. “Because I’ve had to talk about it to so many people. The more I talk about it, the easier it is to handle.”
I wish we had more young brave girls like Kate. Maybe if she went inside the schools and spoke about her abuse more children might get the courage to stand up and say, "no" or turn their abusers in to the law.
