Does anyone know what she can charge him with. Sexual assault? Intent to rape? I want him to pay for this so that he can't do it to anyone else.

Hello and welcome to the board. Your friend is lucky to have a friend like you who is obviously concerned.

Please ask your friend to report the crime to the police. Your friend can't charge anybody with anything. Only law enforcement can. There's no need second guessing what the charge might be. Report the crime immediately to the proper authorities.

I'm helping a friend charge a man with what I believe is sexual assalt, but was almost rape.  Here's what happened....
She was with her boyfriend, and his good friend at her house. She was also friends with his friend, because she has been with her boyfriend for several years and his friend has come over a lot.  They also knew each other from high school. All of them are 21 years old.
She went to bed and her boyfriend and his friend stayed up for a while. She woke up with her boyfriends friend on top of her.  She sleeps naked, so he was touching her everywhere, kissing her, and trying to guide his penis into her vagina.  Luckily, she woke up before he got it in and she tried to push him off.  She heard the front door open and close, and the guy jumped off of her and she heard him zip up his pants.  A second later her boyfriend was pounding on the locked door demanding that his friend open it.  He did, and said that he had just gone into her room to ask her for his ciggarettes.

So, he didn't rape her...although he almost did, and he would have if it would have been a few seconds more. He needs to pay for what he did.  It's hard for her to even talk about it, much less do something legally about it because he was her friend, and her boyfriends friend.

Does anyone know what she can charge him with.  Sexual assault?  Intent to rape? I want him to pay for this so that he can't do it to anyone else.

Please help....Thank you
