I've read the previous posts of pressure groups campaigning for changes in the presently cruel, unjust and unneccessary law such as those of "Citizens for second chances"(Barb and Linda Z.)
Recently i've heard of a new one set up by parents who find their children persecuted by "Megan's" law called "parents for a Romeo and Juliet law",but I have'nt been able to locate it.
Does anyone know anything about this?

I do not understand the "Romeo and Juliet" movement. Most teenage girls are preyed on by ADULT males.

The idea that teenagers having sex with teenagers is the problem is a fallacy.

By the way - Romeo and Juliet end up dead. How romantic.

Yes Romeo and Juliet end up dead in late Mediaeval Italy due to the honour system of that time and culture.
Romeo and/or Juliet may now end up dead in 21st century America due to "Megan's"law.
As well as the danger to life from vigilantism some American Romeo and Juliets have been driven to suicide by being pilloried on websites for consensual offences for which they only recieved short term probation.I don't however know if any have committed suicide together. If not no doubt that will come.
"Was there ever a story of such woe as this of Juliet and her Romeo?"Only America does it via the internet.
The Montagues and Capulets have to "weep before these bodies".The campaigners for "Megan's"law should weep before the lives of teenagers, who often did nothing worse than a consensual touching game at a party with someone slightly younger, destroyed by the Witchunt they an "Megan's" law engenders, but they don't ,and they don't care.
That is why the "Romeo and Juliet movement"exists, and is justified sisco wrote:
