I do wonder about the actual offense. Did he "touch" her in the wrong way? Caress her buttocks? Put his hand inside her shirt? You can bet with his sentence that there was no penetration. In fact, I bet there was no nudity, and probably no "skin" contact at all.
I have to wonder also if there is more to the sentence than what we were told. Like maybe he got a jail sentence followed by a term of probation, maybe another ten years.
For the offenses I described, a short jail term followed by sex offender probation is quite common.
Perhaps Michelle can provide us with the guy's name? That would make it possible to verify his actual sentence.
