If our laws got any stricter then we might as well throw away the constitution. Sure, its a bad thing to be a victim...but more laws isn't the answer...better parenting programs and public awarenes is. This kind of thing can be prevented without more laws and a stupid registry that nobody looks at till its too late. 6 months? let me guess, no penitration? maybe you all would feel better if we just took the guy out and shot him to death! And the ones who allowed him to get this close to the child in the first place...shoot them too! Sorry, just making a point. We dont need more laws, parents just need to start learning what to watch for or start doing thier job as a parent...in ALL cases, a concerned parent can be the best prevention ever.
