My family and I are interested in trying to get mandatory minimum sentences for child molestors in Idaho. We recently had a family member who is 11 years old that was molested by her step-father. He was just sentenced last month and only received a six month sentence at Cottonwood which is basicly like boot camp. My family and I were shocked to learn that this is very common in our state. Also our child protection laws need some definate reform so that they can actually do what they should be doing, protecting our children. So if anyone has any suggestions on how that can be done.
