I noticed that s.s. hadn't been posting for awhile. People come and go on this board, but since he had been here for so long I'm curious if he said goodby and I missed that post or if any of you have been in contact with him?

I was wondering the same thing. No he didn't say goodbye...One of his lasts posts was to me..I responded and he never got back to me. I was wondering if he had a computer restriction with his probation and maybe is in jail on a VOP. Anyone know his name? I could check it out.

No his crime wasnt computer related. He didn't have a restriction he once said.
That brings up a good point though. I think he once said there was originally a restriction like that but he appealed and had it removed by the court. Was it him who said they found it unreasonable since his crime didn't involve computers?
Considering e-mail not to mention online banking are such a common deal nowadays I'd expect them to only restrict access to pornographic sites maybe with spyware monitoring or something. But denying internet access for non-internet related crimes is clearly not right.

What is this post in reference to? I was not suggesting that s.s. used his computer at work...simply I thought he had a computer restriction...but I think Silver is right he may have gotten that modified.

If I had to guess, I think Simon is taking a stab at you, not S.S., for using a computer at work for personal reasons. Funny, but I thought this discussion had already occurred.
