My lawyer and I, who are fighting some of the useless laws we spend millions on in a waste of tax dollars, have concluded that the only way people can make a different to politicians is if there are alot of them. We are talking about posting a form, or kind of survey on the internet to be filled out by the public. The results from the form will go into a database where it will be calculated and sent to congress. We hope that if there are enough of our people fighting this, then they might take action. If THEY dont, then i'm sure some big news company will! If such a survey was given, would many of you be willing to fill out this short form online? Personal info would be very limited, we are more concerned with the results. Does this idea even sound logical to attempt at this time? Let me know what you guys think. I'm sure if they just received some of the polls on here, this might get thier attention. But this will be a database only holding relevent information and opinions, its not going to be intended to be a weapon to slander with, just a tool to bring these serious issues to the attention of someone who can make a difference. The ACLU will also get a list of results as well, the result totals would be posted on the site where many took the survey. So those of you who want to change our laws, who think they are nothing but a false sense of security or have your own reasons...what do you think of this idea? Steve, your feedback would be appreciated as well, its always been my belief our government should satisfy the needs of we the people...though beaten down alot, it should still apply. Never underestimate public opinion, if harvested and presented correctly...it can win wars.
