i am doing a research paper on why sex offenders should be locked up longer, espically the ones who are striking again once they have been let out. if anyone could help me out please e mail me at cutsieviolachick@aol.com any help would be appriciated. my main goal in my paper is to first prove why sex crimes are soo horrible on the victims (espically children), then tell about the offenders and how treatment and inprisionment is not working, and then telling more about solutions. i need help and soon!!! thank you sooo much!!!
Sarah

I'm actually doing the same thing right now! And I totally agree that they are not punished enough. In my paper I suggest that there is one of three choices of punishment for sex offenders, death penalty, life inprisonment without parole, or castration (in males of course). And there is a link on this web site that you can look up the registered sex offenders in your area to prove your point that too many of these people are on the loose. I don't know if you know where Bedford is (between Dallas and Ft. Worth) but I looked up my city and found 45 registered offenders, and Bedford isn't a very big city either. Hope some of this helps. I am doing a graduate level research paper regarding the rape shield law (Art. 27, 461A). I need to know how this law has impacted on rape victims. I have to critique this statute. I see this statute as a means of protecting rape victims from the admissability of certain evidence during trial. Do you have any thoughts on this? Can you provide me with any statistics regarding this? I've searched the Univ of MD law library and Health and Human Services Library and have come up with very little. I'd appreciate any help. This paper is due December 14th. Thank you.

I am doing pretty much the same paper, but my paper is about the punishments that the sex offender whether male or female gets. Many states are starting to register sex offenders over the internet, but I honestly think that we need to be harsher than we are.So any information on different punishments for sex offenders would be great.Thank you very much!

I'm pretty much doing the same paper for school, except mines more basic. I have to distinguish between minor vs. serious sex offenses. Then, prescribe a solution for each. I'll be glad to help ya out in any way I can. But as of now I have no clue of where to look. :) E-mail me with anything you find interesting and you can expect the same from me. Thanks a bunch..

I am doing a similar paper but mine is an argumentative paper on the parole of repeat sex offenders. Any information or even printed opinions on the subject would be greatly appreciated. I am against therefore I am looking for any opinions that may be in favor of parole or against the registration of sex offenders via internet.
