I am doing a graduate level research paper regarding the rape shield law (Art. 27, 461A). I need to know how this law has impacted on rape victims. I have to critique this statute. I see this statute as a means of protecting rape victims from the admissability of certain evidence during trial. Do you have any thoughts on this? Can you provide me with any statistics regarding this? I've searched the Univ of MD law library and Health and Human Services Library and have come up with very little. I'd appreciate any help. This paper is due December 14th. Thank you.
