Dont tell me the registries are useless...thats not true...you got a bad guy on your street that the system has failed to keep behind bars and you are aware that the guy is there, common sense tells you to take precautions not to let your kid go there....forewarned is forearmed....if all the registries in all the states saves one child from being victimized they are worth it, even with whatever inperfections come with them...thats where the devisiness comes in...You can count thousands of threads here of the unintended consequenses of the registries .....but all those stories dont mean crap if only one kid was spared the experience of abuse...
