I would never compare a sex criminal to a property criminal. What I don't understand is why some people are comparing sex offenders in the community as if they were prisoners and treating them as such. I'm all for cuffing 'em and stuffing 'em and hopefully throwing away the key if they hurt a child. But, banishment of offenders living in the free world has got to be the most uncivilized and hateful way to treat people I've seen in quite some time. If there truly are extremely dangerous RSOs living among us then let's identify them and work on a civil committment process for offenders not in prison. What is wrong with identifying the real problem and working on it instead of pushing it away for someone else to deal with?
