There use to be a place that you entered a simple zipcode and it would tell you how many sex criminals were in your area and what the addresses were that the criminals lived at ... that site is the one I was looking for when I came to this site..... does anybody have the site address that I can find the sex criminals that are in my area ??????????
You can find that info. through SexCriminals.com.
Since your profile says you are from Texas, I assume you are looking for registered sex offenders in Texas. To access the state registry, click "Sex Offender Registry" from the top menu found on any page of this site, then click "Texas" from the list of states in the center column of the page, then read the text in the center column of the page and click the link to the desired resource. Note that for Texas there are links to a searchable registry of registrants' information and also a sex offender mapping utility. If you scroll farther down the Texas page in the SexCriminals.com directory of sex offender registries,, you'll also see links to several dozen cities and counties in Texas. These are cities and counties which have a law enforcement agency (either police department or sheriff's office) that maintains and shares a local version of the registry. Not all localities share that information online so if your locality isn't listed, that's why.
If you're interested in another locality or state, drill down through the directory using the same method. There are still a few states which don't have a registry online and many more which online list those classified as high risk.
For those unfamiliar with the founding of this site, see my user profile. I founded the site in late 1998 (moving it to SexCriminals.com in January 1999) as the first accurate, comprehensive directory of sex offender registries online. There are well over 400 state, city and county registries maintained by various local and state government agencies which are currently listed.
