'Def raped and tortured step daughter over a period of 3 years. 10 years later step daughter goes to therapy for depression after 4 unsuccessful attempts at suicide and admits to counselor she was raped by her step-father. Def is arrested for Capital Sexual Battery, cops to a plea of L&L then is sentenced to 10 years probation.'
What? Ten years probation for a little 'belated incest'? He should have had a better attorney, like that New York cop.
The public REALLY REALLY needs to see how the criminal justice system works.
They sure do. Perhaps then they'll realize that all this BS about registries, proximity laws, license plates and GPS is exactly that. BS. They'll realize that their legislators have been giving them a royal screwing all these years, refusing to tell them what the REAL problem is and doing something about it.
