Gender: Male, Age Bracket: 40 - 49, State: N/A, Country: United States

Read this report, which will tell you that while 19% of our youth experience SOME form of online solicitation, be it in a chatroom or unsolicited email (anybody on Yahoo, Hotmail, Lycos, etc gets those by the hundreds regardless of age) or a porn popup, only 3% were classified as "aggressive" as in the solicitor tried to set up a meeting. Additionally only 25% of the solicitors were adults while 48% were themselves kids.
http://www.unh.edu/ccrc/pdf/Victimization_Online_Survey.pdf

After you've read that one, read this one. It will tell you that 62% of our youth 13-18 years old drink alcohol, 40% smoke cigarettes, 32% smoke pot and overall 38% of our youth partake of some form of illegal drug. Heck, 4.6% of them, which is 50% more than received an aggressive solicitation online, are addicted to crystal meth.

So, what is the more efficient use of resources if the primary purpose is to save the lives of our children?

See an abbreviation or acronym, but don't know what it stands for? Consult the Glossary.
