Id like to ad that my bf of 4 1/2 years has to register as a sex offender, when he was 21 he had sex with a girl who was almost 16,I know it is against the law what he did, but should he be treated like a animal on the lose for the rest of his life because of that? This has been haunting not only him but me and its very upsetting and depressing we have a son together hes a wounderfull father and hes the farthest thing from violent..or a preditor. When the cop came to my door to let me know he was notifying our street i broke down and balled my eyes out, I didnt even want to walk outside, i felt everyone was staring at us, thinking hes some kind of child molester,, pervert,, its very hard to deal with, I dont belive he deserves to be on that list with the real sickos,, its not fair in my opinion. Its really nice to find this site, and maybe get some things off my mind.
