I am floored by the response. You wite (plural) as though sex offenders commit their crimes for sex. Come on people this is basic criminal thinking 101. Sex crimes (as all acts where one person exerts their will over that of another) are crimes of control that manifest themselves as overt acts of a sexual nature. The rapist is using sex only as the vehicle through which he is attempting to return himself to a perception of control. You can cut a rapist's dick off and remove his balls, he can still rape!! Sure, this makes us all pat ourselves on the back and think we have brought godly vengeance on the monster. You have done little but increase the need for control.

If an offender is to a point where chemicals (a temporary measure at best) are used then I would think he may not be a good candidate to be loose to begin with. Think, think, think, sex offenses are primarily about control.

See an abbreviation or acronym, but don't know what it stands for? Consult the Glossary.
