The last 3 days of this trip have been great. Ive stayed from the forum more than i have in a while now. some dicussions anymore just seem to go on and on and on.
Anyway, the part of the olympics Ive been waiting days for, womens figure skating. But, The USA finally medaled in ice dancing on monday with a silver .
there was also a public practice yesterday and I must say that the youngster, Kimmie Meissner might surprise a few people because she has no expectations of greatness. Today should be a fun day in Italy

This is my first trip to Italy so it has been a great experience, due to HEAVY internet usage, getting online has proven to be a challenge sometimes becaus of some very slow speeds. I have been using gotomypc.com to use my home connections and files/programs. I love it. If you travel as much as I do, its a Godsend.
Anyway, yesterday, we went south to the vatican and it was awsome. (3 hour drive) The Pope was doing a service to install new Bishops in the church or something. We got to see quite a few of the open tourist things we could get to. Really neat to see up close and personal. Anyway, the long/free programs are getting ready to start. Sasha was excellent on Tuesday and if she can skate a flawles routine this evening, she should win gold. I want to see the cutie pie kimmie Meissner get at least a bronze as well but the competition is tough. gotta go, our ride is here! Go USA
BTW, ren, i got that magnet earlier this morning!

If you get to Naples, check out the Piano Bar about three blocks from the main pier.

We had a big fight there one night and shore patrol was trying to take me away, a few jugheads with them, as they were trying to get me into the van i was biting on the bumper. The jug heads gave up on trying to muscle me in and turned me over the carabaneri(sp). My attitude was promptly adjusted and I spent the night in a Napoli Jail. My unit got me out the next day.

That Peroni.......................... I think they put something "off" in there, hehehe.
