I didn't notice that you were only looking for responses from RSO's about how it feels to be labeled a "deviant." Well, I'm not an RSO, but my husband is. Trust me, most people consider ME a deviant because I am married to a "deviant". By the way, this includes my father. It doesn't feel good to be judged or loathed by your own parent, but we are adults. At some point you have to do what you feel is the right thing and let your parents accept it or not.
