Hello to all. Since it is nearly Christmas, I just wanted to wish every one of you to have a merry Christmas and remember for just a moment what the true reason for Christmas is.
With the constant political correctness out there thick enough to gag me I cant help but wonder if there wasn’t a Christmas would there be a reason for anyone to use the PC term “happy holidays” anyway? We can let a bunch of liberals take away a holiday that is celebrated all over the world, including most European countries so as to not offend someone. That is rubbish plain and simple.
My 3 oldest kids really made me proud yesterday when they all went to the bank without my or my wife’s knowledge and drained their bank accounts to go Christmas shopping for 3 families from the giving tree that would otherwise not have a Christmas this year, and delivered those gifts this morning to those families. I couldn’t believe it!!
I realize that they are growing up and have learned to think of others who are less fortunate than we have been blessed in our lives. That really touched me and their mom.
It is my sincere hope that this up and coming generation of kids remember the things that made our country what it is and will preserve the spirit of Christmas and what it stands for. If not for the birth of Christ, what point would there be as he gave us the greatest gift of all. Lets not take Christ out of Christmas this year because all we will have then is” merry mas” and that doesn’t make sense at all, now does it?

Kids will do that to you. Just when you wonder if they'll EVER grow up, they go and do something like that to make you feel really bad for doubting them. Mine do it often;-))
