felt this was the best place to post this, due to the comotion starting again, re how I type, my posts, grammar,etc, I feel it best for me , and the forum if I only stay in the victims section...
considering how I am the Mother of victims....
and that what I do, help...
I am quickly finding this very non productive, to have people post to me , or reply to my posts, telling me they are not able to understand my posts, which I honestly dont believe.
so, the only way to avoid this now, is for me to go where they are not, in victims.
if victims will not welcome me there, I will leave forum, as there is really no other place for me here then.

anti, Understand first of all that I can understand most everything you write. I may not agree with it, but I can understand it. That being said, why are you taking constructive criticism and acting like people are attacking you? I have read every post in re. to your typing style recently, and honestly, they were just trying to give you pointers as to how something as simple as taking a gramatical course (or even just taking a little more time and clarifying your wording in your posts) could help more people get the full impact of the message you are trying to promote. Noone was saying "don't post here anymore", they were just saying "hey anti, it's kinda hard to read your posts , and some newbie might get the wrong message from your posts, you may want to consider changing your posting style so that everyone understands EXACTLY the point you are attempting to make.". Do you see the difference?
I remember not that long ago where the same thing was said to Valerie ( or at least something very similar). She didn't get all riled up about it, she just made her posts easier to understand, and continues to post here regularly.

well i hope you stay and keep posting...i may not agree with what you stand for..but that's your right...and i haven't had a problem knowing what you are saying. and we are never going to end this ongoing frenzy of crazier and crazier laws and regulations if both sides can't get together somwhere in the middle....if the jew's and palestinians can do it so can we!

No one on this board is trying to attack you Anti. Sorry to hear that you can't take constructive criticism and feel that you must retreat to the victims corner to post. How do you handle criticism when you speak? Do you blow up and leave in a huff? Or do you take it all in stride and thank them for thier views and comments?
I can read your posts, but sometimes have a hard time understanding and following them. If you notice, most posts on this board are not using a form of short hand to get a persons views across. You would be clearer if you took the time to more fully develop your ideas and type them out so that people can understand. However, it is up to you the posting style that you want to use as there is no rule on this board that states you must post using a certain style.

I thank you though for this ohh so kind post, but you are wrong re ren, he was not giving just :"constructive criticism", re read all he has posted to, and re to me , and you will see his rudeness, and sarcasim....
just as in his pms to me, and I have also re read alot of my posts in the past 2 weeks and even to a newbie really none would be not understandable.

you are soo very right, this has been one of the big reasons why advocates and non so have not been able to get along w/ rso, in the past, and you are correct, it will continue if people cant at least try to meet somewhere in the middle.....
I did try though, I pm him kindly, only to get rude pms back.......
I replyed to posts here from him, only to get rude replys back, I am not here to kiss butt though.
do appreciate your kind post though.

first off seldom do I get any criticism when I speak, I dont walk away mad, loll, whats wrong w/ you? if I did not, I would not be allowed back...... I am helping people, not fighting, or being rude there, first off when I do any speaking engagements, they (except when I go to prisons, and speak to rso, even then, they are not rude to me), I am talking to people on same wave length as myself, they are normally not in opposite as here in this forum, this happens here due to mixing rso, so, pedos, w/ non so, advocates etc, obvioulsy.....
and there is a huge difference of someone posting to be rude, or to help, and do you actually think a exp child advocate and speaker, wants to take advice from a rso? be serious here now, now if ren would haved pm me privately re it, in a respectful fashion, fine, but he has continued to post here re me, and my posts, and my grammar....
and if you cant see, his posts got meaner and meaner...
and how I post here has virtually nothing to do w/ how I speak on tv, news, to newspapers, speaches etc........

The problem is not that people don't understand "what" you're saying. It's that they don't understand "why" you're saying it.
Let's revisit this exchange from another thread.

First we have figurative speech. Call it flowery language if you will. A way to bring across the point that your question as to what my non-profits are for was a stupid question. I suppose you would have preferred I simply said "now that was a stupid question"? Notice that I clearly pointed out that sex offenders was the topic of discussion.
Anti then replied:

See how you simply stopped discussing non-profits and switched out to a personal attack, an attempt to say I must be a liar?

Once again you take the figurative as if I was literally saying you're a crackhead. Then you bail out, acting as if you just discovered after all this time that I'm an RSO and not worth your time.
The deal is that you can't back up anything you say. You run off at the keyboard spewing whatever misguided notion pops into your head at the moment and when asked to support that notion you start attacking personally and beating around the bush instead of addressing the issues at hand. You troll through posts hoping to find a vague statement that you can seize and try to make someone look bad. What's not constructive around here is your participation at all, anywhere. I wouldn't lose a minute of sleep if you went back to your own forum and never came here again.

some are here for nothing but to debate, or argue, most or can I say some of the so here just love to fight w/ the victims/advocates, I am not here for that, I am simply here only if I see someone in need....

i will have to say anti over the past 2 years there have been several posts that if a person didnt know what you were trying to say to begin with, wouldnt understand some of what you write. since it has been going on since 2003, there has to be some validity to that.
we both know that 90% of the time we are on opposing sides of an issue. i would bet that small fraction of those times has been for a post where i wasnt sure the context of what you were trying to say because of your writing style. the rest is just because you are wrong!(lol) anyway, again i really think the comments about you being misunderstood in some posts does have some validity to it.
Im not trying to be rude in this post, just making an observtion

anti, I would have loved to seen you on the National talk show you appeared on in order to gauge your ability to speak, and how you presented yourself. The problem with some of those talk shows is that the host tends to be biased, and doesn't let the guest speak his or her mind fully. I can't say this is what happened in your case as I didn't get to see the show. Do you think that you were allowed to adequately present yourself on those show(s)?
