The day a defendant gets sentenced for murder is probably the most emotional court day families face

[snip]

The family and friends of Darrel Johnson – the 69-year-old East Side stranger Brown beat and stomped to death during a January robbery – sat and stood among Brown’s family and friends.

Yep, another case where victims of robbery don't get hurt. Yes I am being sarcastic. Oh well, it was just property crime. The victim only died in this instance. Hopefully they will throw away the key on the perp. Guess what? You won't ever know about him living in your neighborhood if he ever gets out. Why? Because he won't be on a registry.
