The man driving a stolen car involved in a fatal crash on Interstate 5 Thursday had just gotten out of jail Monday after serving time for driving around Tacoma in another stolen vehicle, according to court and law enforcement records.

The 26-year-old man was back in jail Friday, this time for investigation of vehicular homicide, possession of stolen property, felony hit-and-run and driving with a suspended licence.

Good thing this was just property crime. No one is ever really hurt as a result. Well, in this case the passenger in the car was killed. Luckily it wasn't some innocent child. They should just throw away the key on all car theives.
