Since I fully understand how cookies work, and know that they are harmless if used properly, I like that idea best. I post on a couple other boards that use cookies so I don't have to log in every time. Fortunately the cookies are recognizable, so I can leave them whenever I do a little "housecleaning".
What I've started doing now is to go ahead and write my post, then just "copy" it before submitting. If I end up having to log back in, I can do so and then "paste" and submit.
Haven't done so in a while, so I want to take this moment to once again thank you for your time and efforts in running this site and message board.
