Right now your session starts the moment you login. 2 hours later the session expires. It also expires (or should) if you close your browser window before the 2 hours are up, then try to access the site again. This is not how I want it to behave, but I need to work on some other things before I change it and for most people it's probably not an issue. What I intend to do is give users the ability to set their session timeout length from b/w 1 hour and 24 hours and to give users the option of staying logged in indefinitely via a cookie (please don't make me explain how cookies are not harmful...), which will mean even if you close your browser or turn your computer off, then visit the site later you'll be logged in. I don't want to make that mandatory so it'll be an option.
