I'll be interested in seeing what level of proximity a user can enter.

Heck, I'd be interested in the accuracy of the mapping. I've seen some good ones. Like a school that is supposed to be next to a highway about 1/2 mile south of a bridge going over a lake. Thing is, Google Earth says that school is about 1/2-mile east of the highway instead of right on it. As if that wasn't bad enough, Mapquest shows the school is about 3/4-mile north and 1/4-mile east of its true location. Which by the way puts it out in the middle of the lake.
