While I can understand her anger, I don't feel Ms. Ceylan was justified in murdering Mr. Gavaz as it wasn't a case of self defense. She should have went to the police rather than taking the law into her own hands, and acting like a vigilante. According to the article, she doesn't have the images on this alledged cell phone that she strangled him in an attempt to obtain.
Gavaz was laying face-down and I sat on his back. I took the shoulder-strap off my bag and wrapped it around his neck, and asked for the images on the mobile phone. When he said he did not have them, I tied two knots in the strap and strangled him by tightening it. Following this, I returned to Keshan and turned myself in
We don't know if he actually took the pictures or not, or if he was only saying he did in order to extort more sex out of her. It was still no excuse for murdering him. Unless the police find this cell phone or the alledged images, then she doesn't have a leg to stand on.
