Actually there is a far more effective method working its way around. Seems that citizenship in and of itself is a privilege at the mercy of the government. Suppose they decided that on being convicted of a sex offense a person was stripped of their citizenship? They become a non-person. Can't violate their Constitutional rights because they don't have any. They aren't citizens.
Of course that would put us on a par with the 10 million other illegals around who are entitled to housing, food stamps, jobs, Medicaid and any number of other entitlements sex offenders are barred from. Sounds like a good deal to me;-))

i see that they are going the route of the US.  It seems that it is now ok to deny people constitutional freedoms when it fits thier legal agenda.  The only way any of these laws can be legalized is to amend the constitution to take away the rights of the citizens.  Of course once that is done, there will be no protection for ANYONE

im waiting for the day when they start to apply these draconian laws to those who havent offended.  I can see it now, when people go to renew thier driver's license, they will have to take a test to determine if they are a pedophile and the police will be in the back room ready to arrest them when they are suspected of being such.
