Actually there is a far more effective method working its way around. Seems that citizenship in and of itself is a privilege at the mercy of the government. Suppose they decided that on being convicted of a sex offense a person was stripped of their citizenship? They become a non-person. Can't violate their Constitutional rights because they don't have any. They aren't citizens.
Of course that would put us on a par with the 10 million other illegals around who are entitled to housing, food stamps, jobs, Medicaid and any number of other entitlements sex offenders are barred from. Sounds like a good deal to me;-))
