I have to wonder if the kid needs therapy because of the crimes or because of Mom and the therapy.
I know I have a problem sometimes with empathy but I'm still wondering if this boy even felt violated or betrayed before Mom told him he had to feel that way. Perhaps Mom fears the defense attorney asking her son if he actually enjoyed the whole thing and the son says "Well heck yeah. She's HOT. Wouldn't YOU do it with her?"

I am appalled at the mother's actions. She's working the plea deals to help the perp escape a prison sentence. Was she paid off by the defense? Is she feeling guilty about something herself? It makes no sense to me as to why anyone would oppose prison for a perv teacher.....unless of course.....well....I won't say....you know what I mean.

wekeep hearing about how the mom doesnt want the boy to testify.
i think she is worried that his testimony would hurt the case.
I am VERY sure he doesnt want anything to happen to her, heck he probably doesnt even want her to even get probation. the ONLY trauma this boy feels is by his mom and the system. He probably dreads going to therapy every wek because he doesnt feel victimized. My 15 year old son saw me reading about Debra and saw the pictures of her and asked "is that the teacher?" I replied
"yes it is" he replied that he though she was "hot" as well and that if he didnt know it was wrong he would do the very same thing as this kid and would be the aggresor. He stated as ive often heard other friends of his state that it would be "awsome" to have that happen with him. They talk about Angelina Jolie and Brittany spears and how they would love to "hook up" with them, but yet, that would be illegal as well as thy both are 18+. Most of these prosecutors and lawmakers have no clue whatsoever how teens think and how they behave. Not saying it is right, but its reality

Tell me about it, I have a stepson that is 17 and for the last 3 years ALL I have heard from him is comments like "man what I wouldn't do to hook up with Angelina Jolie" or "could you imagine banging Paris Hilton AND Nicole Ritchie at the same time?". Do you have any idea how hard it is to explain to him that either of those 2 scenarios would be illeagel?

Do you have any idea how hard it is to explain to him that either of those 2 scenarios would be illeagel?
No personal attack intended but we all know if we had a 14 or 15 year old daughter that said "Wow i would love to spread my legs for Brad Pitt" we would be in a uproar and trying to get to the bottom of why our daughter would say such a thing. A therapist would be invovled, possible LEA and a private detected would eventually be brought into the fold to get to the bottom of her statement and what happened in her life to say such a 'evil' thing.

Let's keep in mind of course that showing images to minors to incite lustful desires in said minors is a Federal felony. So who decides if the actor in question took his shirt off for "artisitic expression" or so young girls would get all mushy about his pecs? Sounds like maybe a lot of "obscenity" going on in Hollywood;-))
