Gender: Male, Age Bracket: 40 - 49, State: N/A, Country: United States

(4) Information released pursuant to this section, at a minimum,
shall include the name, address or addresses, and aliases of the registrant;
the registrant's date of birth; a photograph of the registrant, if requested and
readily available; and a history of the convictions of unlawful sexual
behavior resulting in the registrant being required to register pursuant to this
article. Information concerning victims shall not be released pursuant to
this section.

That's some pretty clear language to me. Straight from the enacted bill. The LEA is definitely REQUIRED to provide the criminal history.
So why this?
Attorneys for the police department now are taking a closer look at whether the site complies with the law

What's to look at? Either the history is there per the law, or it isn't. What's with all the posturing? The site violates state law, and should be shut down until such time that it is in compliance. And somebody put the Chief in his own jail for breaking the law.

See an abbreviation or acronym, but don't know what it stands for? Consult the Glossary.
